Pre-Raphaelite/Medieval Couture Bridal Gowns |
"Raffaella" (Ivory Damask with Gold) |
|
|
|
A figure-enhancing one-piece gown, based on the "Raffaella" design, shown in a ivory silk damask, with gold lace and beadwork embellishing the bodice front.
The bodice is lightly corseted with back lacing. Inspired by the paintings of John William Waterhouse, this Pre-Raphaelite-style wedding dress has a tailored version of the classic trumpet-shaped 'medieval' sleeves. The bodice is cut on the shoulder with a square neckline. The bodice lace continues onto the flat-fronted A-line skirt.
It is possible to construct this gown in many fabrics, patterned and plain - duchesse satin, brocade, damask, dupion, velvet, zibilene, etc. The design can be kept streamlined and tailored, or embellished at the neckline, waistline or cuffs.

To order: The "Raffaella" design is £2100 to construct. See the "Pre-Raphaelite and Mediaeval" index page for other possible variations.
Your choice of fabric from our vast range will add from between £150 to £500, depending on type - silk dupion, damask, brocade etc
This design can be varied and individualised to each made-to-measure order. |
