Corset-Gown with Bustle |
"Athenae" (Silver and Lilac variation) |
|
Emily's version of "Athenae" was in a very pale silver silk dupion. The neckline was embellished with cut velvet flowers in tones of lilac and purple - colours which were carried through to the attending bridesmaids and the wedding bouquet. The corset was lightly boned and laced at the back, with pearl drops and crystals enhancing the shoulderline. |
The design was inspired by a combination of the two gowns - "Turquoise" and "Athenae" (see index). |
