Pre-Raphaelite/Medieval Couture Bridal Gowns 'Celtic Princess'
("Raffaella" variation)

An order based closely on the original "Raffaella" gown; a figure-enhancing two-piece gown, shown in a navy and soft gold brocade. The medieval-styled bridal gown is lightly corseted with back lacing. Inspired by the Pre-Raphaelite paintings of John William Waterhouse, this alternative wedding dress has fitted ruched chiffon undersleeves with button detailing at the wrist. These are revealed beneath classic trumpet-shaped 'medieval' sleeves. The flat-fronted A-line skirt with a volume of fabric gathered into the back flatters both the slimmest and more shapely brides. Piped contrasts and sleeve linings were in navy silk satin.
