Couture Bridal Gowns "Etruria"
(China inspiration!)

soft grey-blue and ivory silk corseted gownwith lace and beading embellishments front view of the patchwork style dress in shades of blue, grey and ivory silk

"Etruria" consists of a fully boned corset-bodice in ivory silk brocade, laced at the back. Romantic sheer silk chiffon sleeves, with a draped shoulder are embellished with silk roses and tulle. The corset has scattered crystals and pearls at the neckline.

The skirt is silk chiffon, graduating into a small train.

The corset bodice is laced at the back in the contrasting shade of blue used for the shoulder roses. Although the original design is ivory with blue, many other colour combinations are possible.

original Queensware embossed cup and saucer back of the skirt in french blue, midnight blue, ivory and silver skirt

original Queensware embossed cup and saucer back of the skirt in french blue, midnight blue, ivory and silver skirt

"Etruria" was inspired by the irresistably pretty Wedgwood china known as Embossed Queensware - typically in pale blue (known as "Lavender") on cream. It is an idea a bride could run away with....A reception theme of blue, white and ivory, antique or contemporary tableware would look stunning. Mixed with blue glass, perhaps with table-centres of pale yellow roses.....For further inspiration, try googling "Wedgewood Blue Wedding Cakes".

To order: The "Etruria" design is £2300 to construct in similar fabrics.
