18th Century Style Wedding Dress "Rosella"
An eighteenth century style wedding dress shown in a pink/ gold silk dupion with ivory
lace sleeve flounces. The boned bodice has back lacing. Accurately made to customer's measurements

An eighteenth century style wedding dress in a pink/ gold silk dupion with pearl-edged double sleeve flounces in silk and ivory lace. The lightly boned bodice has back lacing; the skirt has pannier-style drapes.

The gown can be constructed from a choice of silk dupion, or alternatively in taffeta, duchesse satin or embroidered silks. (Construction charges increase for fabrics other than dupion).

The "Rosella" design was included in the editorial of
Dresses For Brides Magazine

The gown was later used for the cover
of an historical novel: "Westward the Dream", published in May 2011

Reminiscent of Keira Knightley's costumes in "Pirates of the Caribbean", this is a highly romantic, yet easy-to-wear style. It can be worn as wedding gown, a period costume over an 18th century corset or as a ball-gown.

£2200 in silk dupion with lace cuffs. We have over 500 shades of dupion to choose from. For other fabrics, please enquire.

This design can be varied and individualised
to each made-to-measure order.
